The Show Scene The State of Queensland covers an extremely large area and has many regional centers from Brisbane in theSouth to Cairns in the North. There are many dedicated Afghan enthusiasts exhibiting their dogs in all of these areas. There is one Breed Specialty Show held each year in Brisbane and the National Specialty is held there every 6 years.

Queensland Afghan Hound Association The Queensland Afghan Hound Association is another active breed club. It holds a specialty show each year, normally using international breed specialist judges.
